Pics to start



Hi folks,

a couple of pics to start the collection - my first real harvest of Jonathon apples from my own tree - after several years of trying ... yay! ... and one of Merrin in the Lavender harvest - very Southern France!!

Layout is a bit tricky but hope it looks OK.

    Well done you! I have 2 (count them, 1,2) Granny Smith and 5 Pink Ladies still on the trees, hopefully the birds don't find them before they ripen...

    Hey Mims! What's this with hanging females on trees?! And two of them grannies! Tut-tut! I can sort of imagine pink ladies 'ripening', but isn't it a bit late for grannies to ripen?...then again, in my own case...perhaps ripening is still in progress!:)Well done with the apples! Seems like only a few weeks ago the little trees were mere sticks and the drought was threatening.
