Meet "Pagan", our guest. He belongs to a friend of Pauline's and is with us for an interval as yet uncertain. Pagan is an elderly gentleman of 14 and he's quite big; think greyhound but not as skinny. Angus seems to treat him with appropriate deference; not sure if that's because of his venerable age or his size....Anyway our guest appears to be quite relaxed.....
Looks like he's made himself at home...well you do have a lovely place!

ReplyDeleteYes he is a presence, yet not an imposing one despite his size. Has his dinner and then crashes for the night, you wouldn't know he was even here. He seems to be quite happy, what with TWO walkies a day, TWO people for pats and rubs behind the ear, cows in the paddock just across the fence, a nice big yard to patrol, and best of all another dog's bowl to lick...they scoff down their own dinners then rush to the other's to see if theirs was more interesting...back and forth 2 or 3 times until the bowls are positively sparkling clean! Very entertaining.
